Chief Executive Officer
Dan Milar is a founder and principal of Milar Capital, providing the strategic vision and operational leadership that drive the firm’s investment portfolio. With a background rooted in both engineering and business management, Dan ensures every project aligns with the highest standards of efficiency and long-term value.
Beyond his role at Milar Capital, Dan serves as a principal and qualifier for Gordon Milar Construction and a principal of RDGM Construction. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from securing financing and managing investor relations to implementing the operational frameworks necessary for complex residential and commercial developments.
Dan holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and an MBA from Brigham Young University. A dually licensed professional in Utah, he maintains B100 and E100 credentials, reflecting a commitment to technical excellence and disciplined execution that defines his approach as a leader in Utah’s construction and investment landscape.

Kirk Langston
Chief Investment Officer
Kirk Langston spearheads investor relations and capital procurement, including equity and debt. Prior to joining Milar Capital, Kirk spent his career in the high-tech sector, driving revenue growth and leading management teams for several software firms.
He possesses a proven track record of scaling startups into multi-million-dollar enterprises and of navigating real estate developments from inception to completion.
Kirk earned a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Utah, utilizing his financial acumen to structure deals that support the firm’s long-term strategic objectives.

Robert Madsen oversees the management of all Milar Capital construction projects. His focus remains on supply chain optimization and maintaining superior customer satisfaction.
With 15 years of experience spanning investment banking, franchise expansion, and corporate management, Robert ensures that all developments adhere to rigorous project timelines and budgetary constraints. His analytical approach to operations ensures consistent performance across the Milar portfolio.
Robert holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University.

Chief Compliance Officer
Tyler Scott brings over 15 years of experience in private equity and real estate portfolio management to Milar Capital. He specializes in transaction management, due diligence, and complex debt structuring. Tyler’s success is rooted in his broad knowledge of major asset classes and his proficiency with industry-standard analytical software, including ARGUS and Yardi.
He maintains critical partnerships with investors and lenders and provides rigorous underwriting for large-scale assets. Tyler graduated from Baylor University with degrees in finance and real estate and maintains multiple advanced industry certifications to ensure the firm meets its regulatory and investment goals.
